Welcome to the Hot Gamers Only Website!

Hey everyone, after months of work I’m pleased to officially launch the website for Hot Gamers Only! We’ve had an awesome three years of creating podcasts, reviews, spoilercasts and more and I can’t wait to show you the next stages of our projects as we head into year 4. That all starts with this website right here!
After discussions with the guys on the future of the project, one clear thing we wanted to achieve this year is an expansion of our work and the places it can be found. This also included a hub for our work, a place where we can post written reviews and articles and link back to our other projects like podcasts and video reviews. What we are releasing right now is only the start of hopefully a year long experiment into not only written work but also into expanding the amount and types of content we create.
This all starts with our reviews. Over the past three years we’ve released over 15 video reviews crossing a range of genres and consoles. The good news is that as of right now, all of those reviews have been added to the site in written form, so now all 15 videos have a written counterpart by the same author. We are also in the process of digging up some of my unfinished review scripts from the vault, and I intend to have these finished and scored as website exclusives (for now)! Feel free to check them out when they release and let me know your thoughts, as the feedback will be greatly appreciated as we delve into the realm of written reviews. I’m particularly proud of the Life is Strange True Colors review so be sure to check it out (it’s already live!).
With a move into written reviews we have also updated our review scoring system to make it easier to identify at a glance if a game has earned our recommendation. This is just a small change from what you are used to, with a number out of 5 being attached to the categories we have been using over the past few years. 1/5 is unplayable, 2/5 is avoid, 3/5 is hesitant, 4/5 is recommended, and finally 5/5 is a must play. They don’t really mean too much by themselves, as I have always believed you should let the whole piece speak for itself, but it should help us to solidify our thoughts more easily for readers.
Other than reviews, we’ll also have occasional articles from time to time. These may just be think pieces, website/channel updates or written versions of videos we make on the YouTube channel, but we hope to have at least a couple of extra articles on the tab every single month. We’ll be posting any updates on these on the Twitter, so be sure to follow to keep up to date with these and future reviews.
We never intended the site to be a replacement service for listening to the podcast (we can’t afford all that bandwidth!). However, you can find more information on our shows, as well as the latest video episode and direct links to your favorite podcast services all in one space.
Other than that, feel free to have a look around. You can check out our podcasts, learn more about the crew, and easily contact us regarding podcasts or in general all from the one location. There are plenty of secrets that can’t be found easily so if you find any be sure to send us a message on Twitter. We’re also open to suggestions to improve the site and make it better for everyone using it, so please send any feedback our way using the form on the site!
That’s all I have to say for now. For updates on everything else we have in store for the next year be sure to check the YouTube channel, that’s all I’ll say for now! Thank you all for the continued support, and here’s to a bigger and brighter year ahead!
